Emon Chatterjee

Emon Chatterjee is an Indian singer who becomes popular after joining and winning the second runner-up place in the third season of the reality show, in the year 2007. He is from Kolkata and dreams of becoming big in the music industry. His name was derived from the famous Raga of the Indian Classical Music called Yaman. It was given by his parents, Sri Mainak and Smt Sutapa Chatterjee, which just shows that he came from a family with so much passion for music.

In the year 2009, Emon hosted the reality show, Royal Bengal Superstar, which was aired on Star Jalsha. Emon already performed in over 500 live stage shows in and outside India. He also worked as a playback singer to popular Bollywood Music Directors like Bappa Lahiri, Anu Mallik, and many more. He also recorded Bengali films with Bengali’s top music directors such as Kalyan Sen Barat , Surojit Roy, and Ashoke Bhadra. Emon also has an album entitled Ichche Puron, which he wrote, composed, and sang by himself.
